Ryan Kim
Howdy! I’m Ryan and I am currently a rising freshman at TJHSST. I went to Nysmith School for the Gifted from Pre-K through Eighth Grade and I enjoy learning programming, physics, and calculus. Some of my extracurricular achievements include: winning the Junior Team Tennis regional tennis tournament, qualifying for the NSDA Public Forum National Tournament, and making it to the Math League States competition twice. I am exuberant to be able to teach others about various STEM subjects and debate!
What We Offer
Stepping Stone Tutoring offers free tutoring services for underprivileged students in grades K-12. Due to outside circumstances, many students are not able to explore new studies and participate in activities because they lack the resources and support to do so. We would like to help these students in a free enjoyable way by teaching them new things in a safe and collaborative learning environment. We offer free tutoring sessions for many subjects and activities over Zoom. Students will be tutored on a one-on-one basis with the tutor to ensure that all their needs are accommodated for and met.

Tutoring Sessions
Students will be able to learn about a topic of their choice through personalized one-on-one lessons with a high school tutor. The student does not have to bring any course work to go over during the sessions unless they would like to.
Completing this form is registration for one term of 6 weeks, with weekly 30-60 min tutoring sessions. If the student would like to continue tutoring after the 6 week term, please complete this form again, requesting the same or different course, and we will tutor the student for an additional 6 weeks.

One-on-One
Each student will be provided a qualified tutor have personal tutoring sessions. This will ensure that all the needs of the student are met and maintain focus between the tutor and student so tutoring sessions are optimized.
Free of Charge
We would like to provide students with the opportunity to learn and better their education regardless of any outside factors. Therefore, Stepping Stone is offering free 30 minute long weekly tutoring sessions.
Subjects Offered
We offer over 20 courses for grades
2-9 such as math, computer science, english, and several languages. We also offer lessons on various activities. Tutors are all very knowledgeable and passionate in the subjects they teach.
Scheduling
Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes long all over Zoom and tutors are flexible with times so students can work with tutors to create a tutoring schedule that satisfies their agendas.
