Hello! This is Jeanne, a senior at Thomas S. Wootton HS. I’m very enthusiastic and love helping others! I was a teacher assistant at Matsunaga Elementary’s after-school Korean club, so I do have some experience with students. Tutoring is so much fun and rewarding because I want to help students who are confused or feel helpless- I was once a struggling student too! My favorite subjects at school are math and science, and I’ve also been playing violin for 8 years. I’ve been in Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras from 2013-18, American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras since 2018, and MD All-State Orchestra since 2017. I was also accepted into National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Music Institute this year. I’m super excited to help others through my talents and passions!

Howdy! I’m Ryan and I am currently a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. I went to Nysmith School for the Gifted and I enjoy learning programming, physics, and calculus. In my free time, I play a ton of tennis and work on smaller STEM projects. STEM is important as it teaches students necessary skills for the 21st century, which include: collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and much more. Some of my extracurricular achievements include: winning the Junior Team Tennis regional tennis tournament, qualifying for the NSDA Public Forum National Tournament, and making it to the Math League States competition twice. While I am not sure whether I want to pursue physics or computer science, I find all the topics that come with STEM intriguing. I am exuberant to be able to teach others about various STEM subjects and debate!
